Now that "The Donald" has held his press conference announcing that Carrie Prejean will be allowed to retain her Miss California title, hopefully this "non-story" will flame out (no pun intended) faster than a match in a hurricane.
As to whether Trump's decision was correct, I don't know. I don't care enough to take the time to read Carrie's contract and decide if she violated it.
However, two things are readily discernible:
1) Had she answered The Question in favor of homosexual marriage, the pictures NEVER would have become an issue.
2) While the Left prattles on about tolerance and free speech, they have no intention of observing that which they demand. Carrie was asked for her "opinion", which she gave quite nicely, with no hint of animosity. However, the Left erupted in a firestorm because she gave the wrong "opinion".
Tolerance doesn't begin until we have a disagreement.
And free speech doesn't mean you have to like it.
